Florence Lethurgez is Senior Lecturer in Information and Communication Sciences at the University of
Aix-Marseille, France. Her research focuses on the sociology of cultural institutions and of
audiences, the sociology of music and more specifically the evolution of its discursive forms of
mediation (reviews, programs, analyses, etc..). She is currently researching the socio-economics of the written word (library, publishing, retail) and the sociology of their audiences in this digital age.
