*** SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FEBRUARY 1, 2027 ***

A submission should consist of a zipped folder containing:
- The paper abstract in English* (between 500 to 1000 words maximum) headed with author name(s), organization affiliation (if any), contact address, telephone, and email address in PDF;
- A curriculum vitae (2 pages maximum) in PDF with a list of publications;     
- A brief bio (150 words) in PDF.

* Submissions are also accepted in Chinese and in French.

* Accepted submissions: the abstract and the bio will appear in the EMS27 Guidebook.
The abstract should be ready for publication. If the paper is accepted, a  program booklet containing the paper abstracts AND the full paper (requested after acceptance) will be made available on the EMS website (www.ems-network.org/ems27) .

All published papers will be indexed with a DOI on the Zenodo research platform.

Submissions from students and early-career postdoctoral researchers are particularly encouraged.

Paper presentation guidelines:
Each paper presentation will be 20 minutes (plus a 5-minute question period).
It is encouraged to give papers in English; papers in Chinese and in French will also be accepted. However, all projected slides should be in English.

Presentations with visual support are strongly encouraged. Standard presentation equipment will be provided including a video projector and stereo sound system. Please bring your own device with USB or HDMI port and, for sound examples, a mini-jack audio output.
